RAM FX Studios began Life as "Raven Design Group" in 1991. RDG inc sold alien forehead appliances wholesale as "Crustaceans from the Crab Nebula". We pioneered the pre-tinting of latex to better match normal flesh tones and revolutionized the design of elf and "space" ears. Individually and as a Company, we have been involved with LARPing, Cosplay and Fannish; makeup, costuming and props of all sorts. Today we maintain the highest quality standards, Environmentally conscientious packaging and products exclusively hand crafted, made in the USA in our support of the Costumer, Fan, Cosplayer and LARPER
Company ProfileMember of the National Costumers Association for five years, current members of the INTERNATIONAL COSTUMERS ASSOCIATION, and a proud member of the Sick Pups, the New York / New Jersey costumers Guild. We are founding members of the Karizan Empire, support various LARPs, and the Tri State Actors Theater in Sussex NJ as well as various community college and local school theater groups. Over the years we have worked for Verizon, 30FPS, NY LOTTO, The Visiting Nurse Service of NY, "GQ", "Dazed and Confused" magazine, "Revolver Magazine", "Men's Health" and the WWE among our varied clients. Raven Design Group was founded in 1991 by Bill Frankenfield, Suzanne Lenore (Tees) and Karl Baldwin with support from Stacey Frankenfield, Tom Jeron and Greg Sears. Following the death of Suzanne to Cystic Fibrosis, June 6, 2007 the Tees assumed possession and control of the Corporation and all creative actions were suspended by the surviving corporate officers. During the ensuing years Raven has been rebuilt and is now back in action well beyond its former capabilities as Ram FX studios / Raven Design. This year we had our first Halloween in our new location in Newton, NJ and despite some initia; setup problems, we had a successful and exciting first year!
